              On April 1st, The Friends Of CHAP Auxiliary launched it’s annual campaign

aimed at providing infant clothing, diapers, equipment and other necessities to mothers and babies in need in the Richland County area.  In 2007 fifty-eight churches and community groups participated.  While our goal is to get organizations involved in helping the mothers and babies enrolled in the program (currently 220), an equal emphasis is again being placed on raising public awareness of this exceptional non-profit organization,.   We can not reach these goals without the financial assistance of individuals, corporations and others, whose donations enable us to erect billboards, purchase signs and publish printed materials.

While it’s always fun to buy tiny baby clothes, the FOC needs help covering the costs of our yearly campaign.  We’re hoping that you will consider joining other area businesses (Haring Jewelers, Mechanics Bank, Richland Bank , and others General Motors) and individuals to make the campaign a success.  Should you choose to help us, you may write your check out to CHAP, a 501c3 non-profit corporation, denoting FOC as the recipient.  Any amount that you can donate will go towards helping women right here in Richland County have healthy babies.
